
Sensei Scott Armijo
Sensei Scott Armijo is the A.C.M.A. instructor of traditional Shotokan Karate-Do with over 30 years of martial arts training on his resume. He holds Black Belt rank in several different martial arts including Shotokan Karate, Tang Soo Do, and Tae Kwon Do, as well as a proficiency in Hung Gar Kung Fu. Mr. Armijo began his martial arts training in 1979 at the Seattle Kung-Fu Club, studying the Hung Gar style under Grand Master John S.S. Leong and Sifu John Tautz. In 1982, Scott enlisted in the United States Air Force and continued his martial arts career, studying under Master Lee Suk Jae (Tae Kwon Do), Master Barry January (Tang Soo Do), and Shihan Rick Montgomery (Shotokan Karate-Do). He considers himself a martial artist that uses Shotokan as his foundation style.
Sensei Armijo continues his personal instruction under the tutelage of Shihan Rick Montgomery (Academy of Shotokan Martial Arts) originally from Fayetteville, North Carolina, currently residing with his family in Spokane, Washington.
